Patented male low-profile TRUE HEAVY DUTY XLR connector for studio and stage use. 25% shorter than the standard XLR design. All metal THD (true heavy duty) construction built to withstand the rigors of daily abuse and touring. Quick and easy assembly using only 4 parts and no screws. Side screws for color coding only. Secure cable clamping provided by a chuck type strain relief that allows higher pull-out force. Cable ID/tracing is made easy via proprietary system of colored side screws common to both 1/4 inch and XLR connectors, thus providing a very effective way of tracing all type of hybrid cables assemblies.
