For this price it's a no-brainer!

Advantages: Very strong suction, easy to clean. Cheap!

Disadvantages: Very big and everything except the springs is made out of plastic.

Spaßmacher pur, bringt leben ins Klangbild, Blechbläser und Stimmenwerden sehr natürlich wiedergegeben. Die räumliche Abbildung ist sehr gut. Einsatz von 4 Stck im Eingang der VT 200 von Audio Research 6 Stck EH als Treiber und in der Verstärkung 6550 Tung Sol ein wirklich gelungen Kombination.

Advantages: Gegenüber Sovotek, Philips und EH
Diese Röhren haben eine Räumlichkeit und eine Tiefe die andere Röhren nicht haben. Die Leichtigkeit wie diese Glühwürmer spielen ist einfach klasse. Sehr natürlich im Mitteltonbereich sanft in den höhen, nicht ganz so straff im Tiefbassbereich wie eine Philips aber das macht ein geschlossenes System beim Lautsprecher wett.

Disadvantages: geht nicht ganz so tief in den Keller und wirkt leicht aufgedickt ist aber in den meisten Fällen zu vernachlässigen.

Wow, for the price, these are unbeatable.
they work really well in my 10 year old Copland CTA-402 Amplifier

Advantages: Once 'broken in' (about 50 hours), the sound these produce is wonderful. Where they really excel is in the pace and rhythm they give and a lovely air to the cymbals on everything I've listened to. The BIAS settings are rock solid with less then 1ma of drift when fully warmed up.

Disadvantages: none at all

I received mine quad today and I first was suprised tubes are double marked =C= and TAD, strange... TAD sell his selected tubes at an higher price.

Time will talk about reliability, but at the moment they are the Winged C I'm use to and I know they will get better in few days.

Advantages: Best sounding EL34 for the money, for sure.

Disadvantages: You are going to miss them, as far as they stopped production.

Very good set, lot of dynamic range. Amazing clean sound at low volume. Can sound a little bit harsh at highest gain settings.

Comes in 4 different types. The 04318 is perfect for Princeton, and eliminates the "bass fart" 8500 Ohm primary impedance, Princeton wants 8000. But that's no problem for the reissue anyway. Fits in slot.
Bought this earlier, probably get one more.

Passt in alle möglichen Pedale mit momentären Fußschaltern, SPST. Ob das Ding den hohen Preis wert ist, lässt sich natürlich erst nach Jahren und viel Benutzung sagen, doch die Tatsache, daß Lehle die Switches in ihren eigenen Pedalen verbaut, scheint auf gute Qualität hinzudeuten.

Advantages: Sehr platzsparender Momentary Footswitch, der sich auch gut mit der Hand bedienen lässt. Die beiden intern bereits verbunden Litzen haben offene, saubere Enden, gut verlötbar.

Disadvantages: Der "Lehle" Druck auf dem Knopf... sieht billig aus, aber man kann das mit etwas Sandpapier abreiben ;) Natürlich wünscht man sich die unbedruckte Fassung, die Lehle in den eigenen Pedalen verbaut.

Great tubes. I bought a matched pair and put them in my Line 6 Spider Valve. Great improvement in sound quality both in clean and drive tones.

A very good tube for Musicman before 1980. The sound is between EL34 and 6L6GC. The settings are identical to EL34. Also used in Brunetti MC2 to change the sound. 6CA7 is the US answer to European EL34. Its construction is very close to a 6L6GC and the sound too.Very good tube by Tesla JJ.

Old school sound and really a good tube. Superb with old Princeton Reverb amp.

Bass Mode was the main reason I bought this tuner.

It works fine in standard E A D G tuning.

But it doesn’t seem to recognize any sharps or flats, other tunings like C F A# D#

I tried in the guitar modes with the same results.

Only works in Chromatic but the results are variable on the thicker bass strings

I contacted Nux about this & they confirmed that:
"The bass mode is specifically optimized for standard EADG tuning and doesn't work well with C F A# D# tuning. For special tunings, you'll need to use the Chromatic mode. I understand your frustration."
I asked them that if that was the case, this wouldn't work for a 6 string Bass.
And they later confirmed saying "I want to clarify that a 6-string bass can indeed be used with our product; it just needs to be set to chromatic mode for proper functionality". The same goes for those tune their guitars differently.

They never mentioned any of this in their advertising & product details. They offered no apologies. Just a "If this doesn’t meet your needs, I recommend returning it for a refund or exchanging it for another pedal."
But that costs me time & money to return the product & its a bit of a cop out on Nux behalf. And all they could say in the end is "Thank you for your understanding".
Thanks for nothing!!!! So my final opinion is Nux Sux.

Habe 16 Stück in einer ARC VT200 im Einsatz. Klanglich nach ca. 50 Std, gut und mit jeder weiteren Std. besser. Räumlichkeit ist sehr gut in der Staffelung nach hinten fehlt etwas aber nur im Vergleich zu den Originalen Röhren von 6550 C, dafür aber wesentlich straffer im Bass und druckvoller.Blech wird sehr realistisch wiedergegeben ohne dabei zu überziehen und wirklich lästig zu klingen. Stimmen auf dem Punkt vielleicht etwas mehr Fülle, aber das ist auch abhängig vom Lautsprecher. Sehr überzeugend im Hochtonbereich wobei ich sagen muss, hier ist vielleicht eine EL 34 noch etwas feiner. Alles nach optimaler Einmessung der 6550 und 6922.

Advantages: Druckvoller und kontrollierter Bass, sehr gute Räumlichkeit in der Breite, keine Schärfe auch bei großer Lautstärke. Mittelton gut, Stimmen auch gut und in den Höhen sanft.

Disadvantages: In der Tiefenstaffelung darf diese Röhre noch zulegen und in der Stimmfarbe würde ihr etwas mehr Volumen gut stehen. Aber das ist jammern auf höchstem Niveau.

It's made of metal instead of plastic. Works good on WH10v1 but needs to be filed a little to fit properly.

I got these 2 years ago, they had red rubber caps on, and they were the best sounding ones i have heard so far.

After trying a few other 8 inch speakers I fitted this into my vintage fender Vibro champ; sounds fabulous, superb detail and clarity, great sustain lovely frequency response.
Highly recommended.

Be aware that this switch doesn't work like most DP3T switches. Instead of each row of contacts having one common contact that is connected to one of the three others (A-B, A-C, A-D), it connects adjacent contacts in each row (A-B, B-C, C-D). That makes the switch unsuitable for e.g. the Sansamp GT2 circuit.

The pickguard looks excellent. I put it on a Yamaha with 2 pots, the third hole I used for the miniswitch split humbucker. The curvature on the right side had to be adjusted a little, but with a little patience and attention it was solved.
