6 left, 45 degrees, oval buttons, drill hole 10mm. Gear ratio 1:18. Vintage Look with highest possible tuning stability! After the string is put through the horizontal hole of the shaft and is placed tightly over the frets you tighten the small cylinder on the top counterclockwise with a coin (5 Euro-Cent). Doing this a small pin inside the shaft is tightening the string in the hole. After having done this you can start tuning. And all our Lockheads have a genious point: When turning back the cylinder you finally end up in an open loop so that the little cylinder cannot fall off and never can get lost!
