This is a redesign, styled after the early British MOV KT88 tubes. It has the same large heavy glass envelope and a polished metal base. Excellent tone and great appearance. A preferred choice for high-end audio and powerful bass amps.

In the tradition of the legendary Telefunken EL34, the TAD EL34-STR REDBASE provides a gorgeous, dynamic and amazingly open in-yer-face tone with just the right amount of angriness. The TAD FANTA. (Frequency Adapted Natural Tone Accessory) Speaker Emulation is a low impedance, balanced, symmetric, transformer coupled output. Just connect it to the speaker output of your amp. it does not require any power supply or battery. The F.A.N.T.A. has a 3-pin XLR-Connector for a standard microphone cable in order to connect it to a mixing console or a recording system.
