Rio Grande Pitbull humbucker PLB for neck. Nickel. It's little, but it's mean! Humbucking for 4 string bass. Fits guitar size Humbucking mounting ring. This versatile pickup was originally conceived and built for the Metropolitan Tanglewood Bass. As it turned out it was the perfect replacement for Les Paul, Steinberger, and other instruments that utilized a guitar size humbucking format. Since this type of pickup was introduced in the 60's in various forms (Epiphones, Firebirds) and the 70's Les Paul Deluxe, they have always come up short in power and presence.
