Slowly wound high-end string. Round core wire instead of hexagonal. The winding lies flat against the core wire, resulting in longer sustain and a more balanced and overtone-rich sound. For the same wire gauge, lower string tension for a very pleasant playing feel. Round core strings must not be shortened BEFORE stringing, as otherwise the winding will come loose and the string will become unusable. The DADGAD tuning set 2020RC is for the most popular open tuning, in which E1, E6, and B/B2 are tuned a whole tone lower.
