The elegant 8-string stoptailpiece. Made of Bell Brass, Gold. String spacing: 74,9mm, bolt spacing 105mm, 16 inch radius, M8 bolts.

Notes:

  • ABM ships their 3027/3028 tailpieces with M8 bolts/sleeves, since this is what is found on most multi-string instruments. For USA guitars, however, the 5/16 inch variant may be required (please see product ABM 302516).
  • Please use ABM studs with an ABM tailpiece! Third party studs may cause problems.
  • Usually do not try to replace the sleeves from existing guitars. If you do not have a suitable tool, this action can be difficult. In addition, the sleeves are often laquered in, therefore removal could result in lacquer cracking. The ABM bushings have a standard outer diameter of 13mm. This can greatly vary in an existing guitar (between 11 and 13mm). So please first check compatibility. The sound difference is already significant without a socket replacement.
