Groove Tubes EL34-LS Pair
This tube is based upon a tube which is considered something of an icon to EL34 users in both the audio world and guitar amp world. There were a number of variants of the original tube and GT chose the classic XF2 dual getter version to reproduce. The original was a classic and this tube is on it's way to developing it's own great track record just as the GT-6L6GE, E34LS, and KT88SV proprietary tubes. Price is for a matched pair.

Groove Tubes 12AY7
This tube is closest in specification to a 12AX7 and can be exchanged with a slight drop in gain. Most companies changed over to the 12AX7 as it became more common. This tube can be tried in later Marshall amplifiers in the first gain position, where the owner of these amps would like to drop the background noise and lower the gain level to plexi or early 70's vintage gain levels with its returned wider frequency response.

Groove Tubes 6550-C Single
A softer version of the older USA 6550A, with a nice distortion character. This tube has a distortion that is between a 6L6GC and a 6550A. In older Marshall's that have 6550's, this tube will give you more compression and distortion at lower levels than the other 6550 offerings. This tube is terrific in Class A amps such as the GT Solo Single when you want to have a lot of output for smaller live venues. Many people prefer these in some Marshall amps where more clean headroom and output is desired. Price is for a matched pair.

This rectifier may be used in amps such as the Matchless DC-30 series and similar amps when you want more compression, less attack, and to lower the voltages in these amps. This rectifier gives a nice feel to these amps with a much slower rise time than the 5AR4 or the 5U4, with a great feel. This rectifier will also let amps such as the Matchless distort at a lower volume to be used in smaller venues and record sweetly at lower settings
