The V571M is a cost-effective dual-gain circuit which either channel may be used as a dynamic range compressor or expander. Each channel has a full-wave rectifier to detect the average value of the signal, temperature-compensated variable gain cell and an operational amplifier. The V571M is well suited for any compander systems in communications and noise reduction systems. SOP-16/375 package.
